Big Plans Ahead! The Gift that Will Keep on Giving

Wow, Mommas!! Christmas has come and gone, and the new year is only a few days away. I hope everyone had a lovely time celebrating with friends and family. We had a lovely Christmas over here in New Jersey, even though it rained most of the day. My daughter was old enough this year to follow along – she picked up on the entire ‘opening and receiving gifts’ thing very quickly. With many people still traveling for the holidays, I wanted to take some time to re-introduce myself, and give you all a sneak peak into my plans for the new year!

Best picture we could get with our energetic daughter!

I’m Bethany- a wife, momma, and speech language pathologist.  A little over one year ago, my husband and I welcomed our daughter into the world. I went from being a professional speech language pathologist to a ‘semi’ stay at home mom overnight. One thing I noticed very early in my career was that parents wanted to help their kids! Sometimes, they just don’t have the information or resources they need to be successful at home. I realize just how hard it is to get everything done in a day, let alone worrying about adding in that extra support for my daughter’s speech development. But mommas, you can provide the home carryover for speech and language development that your child needs while doing everyday tasks. Really, it’s that simple!

Through this blog, I hope to enable parents with the information and skills they need. So, to kick off the new year, I want to provide you with a gift that will keep on giving. I have been hard at work to create a simple but powerful tool you can use at home to help guide you through some speech techniques. I am planning to make this available to you all next week, and it will be free to download – so stay tuned!

I wish you all the merriest new year!

Super excited to match her Uncle, and super excited about the release coming in the new year!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. I am a Christian, wife, mom, and speech language pathologist. I started this site out of a desire bridge the gap between a traditional therapy setting and the home setting. Parents are the most powerful influencers in a child's developement! My goal is to enable YOU to meet your childs speech needs while sharing glimpses of my life along the way.
